Director of Display Advertising
We are Korea’s largest digital media advertiser and one of the top ten in South East Asia. We are the biggest advertiser for Facebook, Criteo and many other top publishers. Our team has over time developed a deep understanding of the DA eco-system in Korea and we have used it to scale the Coupang business by contributing > 40% of Coupang’s YoY growth in the last one year. Not only are we one of the largest spenders but also one of the most data driven and efficient computational marketing teams in the region.
We are looking for a Leader who can manage this scale and is still aggressive enough to aim higher to raise the bar. She / He should be a relentless data driven growth marketer who has a proven record in scaling channels / businesses and drive growth. Should be capable of driving advertising automation with basic understanding of the MarTech Eco-system.
Knowledge of working on Google and Facebook advertising platforms will be a big advantage. This is a challenging position involving leading a team of experienced marketers who are subject matter experts in their publisher eco-systems. Thus, the candidate should have experience in leading a team and most importantly solving complex business problems.
In addition, this position needs a good communicator, who can present his/her ideas to the leadership teams to get buy in for new ideas and share progress on continuous experimentation that the team does. This role also involves a lot of cross department interaction for developing new campaigns and testing new targeting methods. Thus, it is necessary for this individual to be able to collaborate and drive his / her KPIs.
